The Sloof Lirpa is one of the most misunderstood breeds. This might be a result of their relative aloofness or due to their having concentrated acid for blood, which really shouldn’t be a bad thing, unless of course you have a tendency to cut them. This would not be advisable as that they have been known to be extremely temperamental and even though you might step on its tail accidentally, their long claws and dual sets of teeth usually make short work of ensuring you never do it again.

Appearance
The Sloof Lirpa is a very angular looking breed with a lot of projections and carapace body Sloof Lirpa standing in all its glorycovering. They have very long claws that require a fair amount of grooming in order to keep them from tearing through everything. It is a good idea to make sure you provide them with a scratching post of some sort so that they don’t destroy things around your home like your furniture, walls, ceiling, cars, etc. They also possess two sets of teeth and it is advisable to have chew toys on hand as that without sufficient activity they tend to bite; you, small children, light fixtures, etc.
Like many large breeds the Sloof Lirpa does have a habit of drooling but shouldn't cause an issue as long as you don't mind living in swamp-like conditions.
This breed gets quite tall and when standing on its hind legs can approach nine to 15 feet

Character
The Sloof Lirpa is exceptionally quiet given you don’t count the hissing and screeching sound that they mak
Sloof Lirpa
showing its affectionate sidee. They are known to be quite vicarious in nature and love to run around the home, typically through vents and other areas of access that you might have neglected to close off or cover with a suppressing fire using an automated machine gun.
When young they love to show affection and will typically do so by snuggling up to your face and projecting a proboscis down your throat. This is where the young attains the charming nickname: “face-hugger”. Just as when a breed is amorous with your leg, the best practice is usually to just leave it be until they have exhausted themselves, at which point they will usually just come off on their own. Interestingly enough you would think that your young Sloof Lirpa has died, but never fear, it will make a new appearance soon enough.

Temperament
Don’t tease your Sloof Lirpa. Though quite gregarious in nature, it is not a good idea to tease or provoke this breed. It is also a bad practice to attempt to withhold food or to try and reach for its bowl when it is eating. Just a warning.

Exercise/Training
The Sloof Lirpa needs a lot of space to run though it is usually inadvisable to take it to your local dog park because it tends to hurt, maim, or kill other dogs (and owners) when “playing”. This breed is extremely territorial in that it feels that your home, neighborhood, city and pretty much the world, is their area alone. They will defend this aggressively engaging its claws, mouths, and tail, to an oftentimes deadly effect.

Color
The color of the Sloop Lirpa usually ranges from brown to brown, though it isn’t that rare to see a black-brown one. They can actually have a wide variety of colors and physical appendages depending on the breed of animal that it gestates in prior to making its explosive and dramatic reappearance; always a precious event. Nothing is more exciting than seeing your Sloof Lirpa take on its final appearance and reach maturity. Except maybe when it tries to play with you and chases after you with its trademark hissing and screeching. If this happens it is best to run as fast as you can and not be so foolish as to turn around to see where it is at. Just hope that your spouse has a pulse rifle handy to distract it, at least until it loses interest.

Grooming
Their coat is quite lustrous and can often be tended to with a light buffing using armor-all or wd-40. Chew toys like balls, tire rims, engine blocks etc, are good to have on hand. And you might want to have an industrial grinder available to sharpen its tail blade.

Any breed described as "good with children", the dog must be accustomed to children. Any dog that is not well socialized with children will not behave predictably around them. As with all dogs, they should never be left alone with young children.
